‘Futuro plurale’: Legacoop’s Biennial Exhibition of Cooperative Economics

24th and 25th October, Legacoop's Biennial of the Cooperative Economy returns in Bologna.

"Plural Future": this is the title chosen for Legacoop's Biennial of the Cooperative Economy, the most important public meeting and debate on cooperation in Italy, which returns on 24 and 25 October in Bologna, in the central Palazzo Re Enzo. The inauguration is scheduled for the morning of Thursday 24 October, while work will begin in the afternoon. The Biennial of the Co-operative Economy will be divided into two days of meetings and debates with national and international representatives of institutions and politics, economists, exponents of culture, information and the academic world for a debate on co-operation, the social economy, welfare, work and the answers that co-operative enterprises can provide to contribute to the growth of our country and fulfil their social function, in the face of the important challenges of the future, from environmental and energy to digital transformation.

At the centre of the appointments will be the sense and value of the distinctive identity of cooperatives as a lever for responding to the needs for equality and fairness, which are fundamental for the construction of a new development model that is more inclusive and sustainable in economic, social and environmental terms.

There will also be an Off section, with which the Biennial will leave the halls of Palazzo Re Enzo to meet citizens in various spaces around the city, to introduce cooperative stories and more, offering cultural and entertainment activities open to all.

The programme of the Biennial, now being finalised, can be consulted at www.biennale.coop.
